Abstract: Clear aligner therapy has been widely used in orthodontic treatment in recent years due to its aesthetic features and predictable curative effect. However，in the software design process of clear aligner，because clear aligner cannot simulate the movement of condyle hinge axis，it is impossible to predict the changes of mandibular dentition and jaw after the three-dimensional movement of posterior teeth. Similarly，it is not possible to predict the functional changes of the oral and maxillary system. In addition，the influence of clear aligner on the temporomandibular joint in the treatment process is still uncertain. Based on the research results of some scholars at home and abroad and the author′s clinical experience，this paper describes the factors of temporomandibular joint in clear aligner therapy，aiming to provide reference for clinicians.
